Dr. Wallace (Bud) Blackwelder was born in Loma Linda, California and has lived in Southern California all his life. After completing four years at Pacific Union College, he returned to Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1983. He also participated in an externship at the Navajo Indian Dental Clinic and Hospital in Monument Valley, Utah where the program was concentrated in taking care of patients with oral and dental diseases.
Dr. Blackwelder has owned a solo private practice since 1984. He is a current member of the American and California Dental Associations, as well a member of the San Gabriel Valley and Tri-County Dental Societies where he regularly attends a variety of dental continuing education courses. He particularly enjoys restorative and cosmetic dental procedures. Additionally, he prides himself in making his patients feel comfortable and relaxed during procedures, and leaving the office a little more educated than when they came in!
Dr. Blackwelder has been a resident of Corona since 1999. He and his wife, Kimberly have three sons Jordan, and twins Ryan and Braden. They love family activities such as going on RV trips with other families, going to baseball games, playing volleyball, and serving in their local church.
